Melvin Sparks - '75 (Black Vinyl LP)

Der in Texas geborene Gitarrist Melvin Sparks ist einer der Paten des Acid Jazz. Bekanntheit erlangte er erstmals in den Bands von Jack McDuff und Lou Donaldson, wo er ein wesentliches Element in deren funky Groove-basierten Klassikern der späten 60er Jahre lieferte.
